Automatic duplex printing:Duplex printing is a feature of some computer printers and multifunction printers (MFPs) that allows the printing of a sheet of paper on both sides. Print devices without this capability can only print on a single side of paper, sometimes called single-sided printing or simplex printing.

Maximum resolution b/W printing:
1200x1200 dpi
Print speed:Print speed is critically important when buying a printer, but how do you compare print speeds when manufacturers measure it in very different ways? You need a standard. That standard is ISO ppm. ISO ppm is based on the international standard for measuring print speed. Completed in March 2009, this standard was developed by technical experts and representatives from leading printer manufacturers, including Canon, Epson, HP, Kodak and Lexmark. Under this standard, black and color print speeds are determined in default, single-side mode in accordance with ISO/IEC 24734. Unlike older models that capped out at around 30 pages per minute (ppm), newer digital copiers are capable of printing anywhere from 22 ppm on the low end up to 100 ppm with deluxe models. Reducing warm-up requirements, "first copy out" speeds have also improved and now range between 3.5 to 7.5 seconds.

CPU frequency:The clock rate typically refers to the frequency at which a chip like a central processing unit (CPU), one core of a multi-core processor, is running and is used as an indicator of the processors speed. It is measured in clock cycles per second or its equivalent, the SI unit hertz (Hz). The clock rate of the first generation of computers was measured in hertz or kilohertz (kHz), but in the 21st century the speed of modern CPUs is commonly advertised in GigaHertz (GHz).

Fonts and languages Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE 4245i
Support PostScript:Postscript is a programming language that describes the appearance of a printed page. It was developed by Adobe in 1985 and has become an industry standard for printing and imaging. All major printer manufacturers make printers that contain or can be loaded with Postscript software, which also runs on all major operating system platforms. A Postscript file can be identified by its ".ps" suffix. Postscript describes the text and graphic elements on a page to a black-and-white or color printer or other output device, such as a slide recorder, imagesetter, or screen display. Postscript handles industry-standard, scalable typeface in the Type 1 and TrueType formats. Users can convert Postscript files to the Adobe Portable Document Format ( PDF ) using the Adobe Acrobat product. PDF files present the documents printed appearance on a display screen. (You will find many PDF documents for downloading and viewing from Web sites; you will need to download the Acrobat viewer as a plug-in .) Adobe sells a more sophisticated product called Supra for print-on-demand and production printing.

The number of installed fonts PCL:A downloadable PCL font is one of the fastest, most flexible, precise, and economical ways to implement barcodes on printed documents in production environments, including non-graphical operating systems like Unix, Linux, HP/UX, AIX, etc. A small amount of programming is required in the software that generates the report output, but the results make it well worthwhile.
